Artist's Comments

It occurs to me that even though Jersey is one of my definate Luminary characters, I have only drawn her twice - and both times were horrible, horrible attempts.
So in an attempt to edit and change my art style as well as drawing Jersey in her true nature, I came up with this. :)
I was looking over some pictures that have done, and I absolutely adore them, expecially the way she draws the human face. So I attempted something similar here with Jersey, but it was obviously a huge flop - I can't even tell the similarities. However this is a pretty acurate picture of her, so I can let it slide for now. I also tried to shade this one in pencil - my camera didn't pick up any of the shading at all, except in her hair. Bah! Bah, I say!
Jersey is the character that most of my other characters dislike. She's quite the exhibitionist, and she flirts with multiple guys (and gals) daily. She's a theif, but not as a profession - she steals hearts, images, clothing styles, whatever. I'm sure she stole that skirt from someone, because she never wears a skirt.
I designed Jersey... god, two years ago. I've wanted to draw this picture since I first created her, but I figured I should wait until I had a better idea of anatomy. She's a reflection of someone I DO know and dislike.

Ack, for a few moments I was asking myself, "Where's her right arm?" It was blending in with the outline of the right wing so I didn't see it. I do that a lot in my doodles.

I like the eyes very much~ I dun know if that was one of the changes you were talking about, but its a lot less chibi and fits her character quite well.

x3 <3333333333 Yay for awesome comments!

When I looked at it while I was sketching it, I kept wondering where her right arm was too! Maybe someday when I get a new tablet pen, I'll be able to color this one and it'll be easier to see. :3

I like the top half, but not so much the bottom half - it seems so flat compared to the detail you put on the face. There's something wrong with the arm that she has behind her head, too - I'm not sure what, but I didn't realize it was an arm until someone else pointed it out.

Other than that, I loooooove the face. She looks so devilish. The wingies are also very pretty, but for the most part I'm in love with her eyes.

OMG SAM CRIT'D ME.
I love you. :D And I'm gonna keep that in mind for later! I think it's her skirt making the whole bottom half seem flat - I had to run to class and I just didn't shade it at all. I still need to work on my anatomy too >:
YAY THANK YOU DEARIE
(PS: I thought of you today when I went through my journal and found some funny rps we did that I saved ^_^ )
